Welcome!

Welcome to the Idle Banter and Escapades website, a website about pretty much everything. The site was started back in the fall of 2010 by Justin and Zoe, who were trying to find a way to talk about movies, books, television, and basically life from opposite sides of the continent. Starting the summer of 2011, we were joined by our friend Matt, who helped introduce us into the world of podcasts. Since the beginning of the site, it has undergone many changes, from content to looks. Now as 2012 opens we have once again had a facelift and hope to continue to evolve as the year goes on. (At least until the world ends on December 21, 2012.)

For those of you who have been with us from the beginning, welcome to the new site. For those of you who are new here, let us explain the madness. The site contains both podcasts and blog posts about news, movies, technology and pretty much all things media related on a weekly basis.

Podcasts: Join us on Sunday 7pm Eastern as we record the podcast live! If you can’t make the live recording, you can catch the conversation on Monday when the archive is published. If you frequently find yourself traveling and would prefer a more mobile version of our banter, you can subscribe to our podcast through iTunes. Be sure to leave comments and rate us if that’s how you find us!

Blog posts: Zoe and I will be writing sporadically whenever we feel like we have something to say that isn’t covered by the podcast. Knowing us, that will be all the time. We are always looking for ways to improve our podcast and site, so feel free to comment!
